Form Cues

  • Attach an ankle strap to a low cable pulley and secure it around one ankle.

  • Face the cable machine and hold onto the frame for balance.

  • Stand on the non-working leg with a slight bend in the knee.

  • Curl the working leg by bending the knee and pulling the heel toward your glute.

  • Squeeze the hamstring hard at the top and hold for a second.

  • Lower with control back to the starting position — do not let the weight stack slam.

  • Keep your hips and torso still — only the lower leg should move.

  • Complete all reps on one side before switching.
