Form Cues

  • Set both cable pulleys to the lowest position and attach a D-handle to each.

  • Stand between the two cable towers facing outward, one handle in each hand.

  • Take a small step forward so the cables have tension at the start.

  • Start with arms down by your sides, slight bend at the elbows, palms facing forward.

  • Sweep both arms up and forward in an arc until your hands meet in front of your upper chest / face level.

  • Keep the slight elbow bend locked — do not let the movement become a press.

  • Squeeze the upper chest hard at the top.

  • Lower with control, resisting the cable back to the stretched starting position.

  • The upward sweep angle targets the clavicular (upper) pec fibers.
