Low-to-High Cable Fly

Form Cues

Set both cable pulleys to the lowest position and attach a D-handle to each.

Stand between the two cable towers facing outward, one handle in each hand.

Take a small step forward so the cables have tension at the start.

Start with arms down by your sides, slight bend at the elbows, palms facing forward.

Sweep both arms up and forward in an arc until your hands meet in front of your upper chest / face level.

Keep the slight elbow bend locked — do not let the movement become a press.

Squeeze the upper chest hard at the top.

Lower with control, resisting the cable back to the stretched starting position.

The upward sweep angle targets the clavicular (upper) pec fibers.
