Form Cues
-
Set both cable pulleys to the highest position and attach a D-handle to each.
-
Stand between the two cable towers facing outward, one handle in each hand.
-
Take a small step forward to create tension on the cables at the start.
-
Start with arms up and out to the sides, slight bend in the elbows.
-
Sweep both arms down and forward in an arc until your hands meet in front of your lower chest / waist.
-
Keep the elbow bend constant — the arms move through the air as rigid arcs.
-
Squeeze the lower chest hard at the bottom of the sweep.
-
Control the return, letting the cables stretch the pecs back to the starting position.
-
The downward sweep angle targets the sternal (lower) pec fibers.
