Form Cues

  • Set both cable pulleys to the highest position and attach a D-handle to each.

  • Stand between the two cable towers facing outward, one handle in each hand.

  • Take a small step forward to create tension on the cables at the start.

  • Start with arms up and out to the sides, slight bend in the elbows.

  • Sweep both arms down and forward in an arc until your hands meet in front of your lower chest / waist.

  • Keep the elbow bend constant — the arms move through the air as rigid arcs.

  • Squeeze the lower chest hard at the bottom of the sweep.

  • Control the return, letting the cables stretch the pecs back to the starting position.

  • The downward sweep angle targets the sternal (lower) pec fibers.
