Form Cues

Set both cable pulleys to roughly shoulder or slightly higher height and attach a D-handle to each.

Stand between the two cable towers, facing outward.

Grab each handle with the opposite hand so the cables cross in front of your chest (right hand holds left cable, left hand holds right cable).

Start with arms crossed in front at shoulder height, slight bend in the elbows.

Sweep both arms outward and back in a wide arc, pulling the handles apart and behind your shoulders.

Lead with the elbows, not the hands.

Squeeze the rear delts and middle traps at the end of the movement.

Control the return, letting the cables pull the arms back into the crossed starting position.

Keep your torso upright and avoid using momentum.
