Form Cues

  • Attach an ankle strap to a low cable pulley and secure it around the ankle of the working leg.

  • Stand sideways to the cable machine so the working leg is closest to the pulley.

  • Hold onto the frame for balance with the hand furthest from the machine.

  • Start with the working leg pulled out to the side by the cable (slight stretch on the inner thigh).

  • Sweep the working leg across your body in front of the standing leg, squeezing the inner thigh.

  • Hold the end position for a second and control the return to the start.

  • Keep your torso upright and hips facing forward — do not rotate.

  • Complete all reps on one side before switching.
