Form Cues

Attach a rope handle to the high pulley of a cable machine

Stand facing the machine, step back to create tension, one foot slightly ahead

Grasp the rope with a neutral grip (palms facing each other)

Keep your chest up, core braced, and a slight lean back for stability

Pull your elbows back and outward at roughly shoulder height, driving them behind your torso

Focus on squeezing your shoulder blades together at the end of each rep

Hold the contraction for a second, then slowly return to the start position

Keep your wrists neutral and avoid shrugging your shoulders up toward your ears
