Reverse Step Up

Form Cues

  • Stand on a box or elevated platform with one foot near the edge

  • Step backward off the box with the other foot, lowering it toward the ground

  • Keep your torso upright and core braced throughout

  • Lower slowly until the rear foot gently touches the ground

  • Drive through the heel of the working leg on the box to come back up

  • Avoid pushing off with the rear foot — the working leg does all the work

  • Keep the working knee aligned over the ankle

  • Complete all reps on one side before switching
