Form Cues

  • Lie face down on the machine and position the ankle pad just above your heels

  • Adjust the machine so your knees are just past the edge of the bench

  • Keep your hips pressed firmly into the pad throughout — don't let them rise

  • Curl your heels toward your glutes by contracting your hamstrings

  • Squeeze at the top for a moment, then lower slowly with control

  • Avoid jerking or using momentum to swing the weight up

  • Point your toes slightly to reduce calf involvement
