Form Cues

  • Step one foot forward into a staggered stance for stability

  • Keep your core tight to avoid arching the lower back

  • Keep your elbows close to your head and pointing forward throughout the movement

  • Only move the forearms — keep the upper arms stationary beside your head

  • Feel the stretch in the triceps at the bottom and give in to it when bending the elbows

  • Squeeze the triceps hard at full extension and control the return
