Form Cues
-
Adjust the preacher bench height so your armpits rest comfortably on top of the pad

Plant your upper arms and elbows firmly on the pad — they stay there the entire set

Hold a dumbbell in one hand with an underhand grip (palm facing up)

Curl the weight toward your shoulder by contracting the bicep

Squeeze the bicep hard at the top of the movement

Lower the dumbbell slowly over 2-3 seconds back to near full extension
-
Keep your wrist straight and neutral — avoid curling or bending it
-
Do not lift your elbows off the pad or use momentum to swing the weight
-
Perform all reps on one side before switching to the other
