Deficit Single-Leg Calf Raises

Form Cues

  • Use some sort of elevation so you can use the full range of motion

  • Enter a deep stretch of the calves at the bottom of the motion

  • Extend all the way up and squeeze the calves at the top for a second

  • Optionally use weights, if bodyweight is too easy. Grab a dumbbell and hold onto something for balance
